Back in 2011 when AMT's brand new ALP-45DP dual mode locomotive was in intensive testing on the electrified Deux-Montagnes subdivision; here, a southbound test train approach Grand-Moulin station, the engine still smell fresh paint along with brand new multilevels cars...Today, ALP-45DP's run daily on three commuter lines around Montreal displaced GP40FH-2, F40PHR, F59PH and even GP9RM from duty; on the railway, everything at any time is endangered...
