Remarks & Notes
Built by Gunderson in May of 2013 this car represents one of the newest and latest designs for the stand alone auto rack, the Multi-Max. The unique aspect of this auto rack is that it can be setup in either the bi-level or tri-level configuration giving more flexibility to an ever changing automotive market. The car has also been built with exterior dimensions nearly identical to those of standard bi-level or tri-level auto racks so there is no need to segregate this car from the standard auto rack pool. Produced at Gunderson’s Concarril, Mexico plant, this latest auto rack design has been ordered by both BNSF, NS and of course CSX. Union Pacific also has their own convertible auto rack design as well, click here to read about it.

Do you ever get the feeling as a model railroader, that you just might be creating something not "prototypical?" Same here.
