| It's -22 degrees Fahrenheit and train 490 with modern GE power passes the not-so modern Minneapolis, St. Paul & Sault Ste. Marie depot that once held the company's Winnipeg Division headquarters. The structure still retains a its local importance serving as the Thief River Falls city hall. The city administrator's office looks directly north up the tracks to the roundhouse and yard facilities; a pretty ideal office view that I could definitely get used to but probably wouldn't get too much work done. |
