Rolling into KCT Mill Street Yard with 42 cars from UP Armourdale Yard is KCT Train 105. This is the Saturday yard crew, and normally a switch engine is used to fetch the UP transfer, but the tonnage today warranted using the transfer power, which is rarely used on Saturdays.
The head car is an Ex-MP wheel car, wearing surplus red caboose paint, which UP used up in the early 90's on company service cars after they stopped repainting (and using) cabooses. These, and the Ex-SP cars behind it now wear AOK reporting marks, and are in captive service between railcar shops on the UP, and Greenbriar wheel shops, one of which is served right next to Mill Street.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
