On a drizzling cold spring morning, 75 carloads of poultry feed are distributed among the six track yard at the Maysville Mar-Jac feed mill while the S&A heritage SD70ACe on the point shoves a short cut towards the mill. This mill produces 8,500 tons of feed weekly to supply over 200 Mar-Jac contracted poultry farms in Northeast Georgia, with Norfolk Southern having a key role in the process from field to dinner table.
