Operating at 11,000 volts, one of Amtrak's Acela Trainsets departs Washington Union Station headed North for New York on a warm Summer afternoon. This is one of the many trains that will depart Washington DC for New York on the busy Northeast Corridor. Photo taken with permission and with all PPE.
