Remarks & Notes
Adding meaning to the phrase “S curve, ” Union Pacific’s Denver to Salt Lake City manifest freight MNYRO climbs the two-percent grade into Rocky, Colorado, on February 2, 2014. Four GE AC4400CWs power the freight, along with two more locomotives operating as a rear DPU. The train is passing under Colo. Hwy. 93 and is surrounded by a fresh winter snowfall.
