Illinois Central Gulf GP10 8181, still wearing the colors of ICG predecessor Illinois Central, is teamed with IC GP40 3042 and Gulf Mobile & Ohio (the other ICG predecessor) GP38 718 at Montgomery, Alabama, in December 1974. The GP10 is a rebuilt IC GP9 (number 9181), which was built by EMD in 1956 and rebuilt by IC's Paducah Shops into GP10 8181 in December 1971.
