| At the Knoche Yard fuel track is recent Mid-America Car release WAMX 3533. This was until recently JLCX 547, built as Wabash 547, and was the last locomotive delivered to the railroad before the N&W merger in April 1964. This engine turns 50 this year! Hopefully Watco will use it for years to come. Hard to believe this unit was part of a museum collection for several years. |
