Pan Am Railway's movements of Bakken crude oil through Maine really changed the face of everyday patterns after 2013 began. While CSX and BNSF power had already been seen as far East as Waterville, Pan Am would then service the power and return it West. That all changed in January and February as pool power would be allowed to run through all the way to Saint John, New Brunswick. On a snowless February 2, 2013, a loaded RJMA approached Route 202 in Hampden, Maine with a solid trio of BNSF GEs looking mighty out-of-place for many local cameras!
