Nearly a year to the day following a hall-of-fame pursuit of GP9 52 in its Maine Central-inspired colors, the Holiday season of 2012 brought another uncommon visitor to Pan Am's Hinckley Branch. Having spent most of its recent months in District 3 out of East Deerfield, MA, it was back to D1 for a visit. Rolling through Shawmut, Maine with a decent sized train, 77 had a better than average horn working on its way down the branch toward Waterville.
