A Union Pacific SD7 awaits repairs at North Yard in Salt Lake City on Feb. 22, 1977. It was built as the UP 780 by EMD in June 1953, later retired as UP 455 in March 1980, sold to Precision National Corp. of Mount Vernon, Illinois by March 1981. The 455 was later sold to Illinois Central Gulf who rebuilt it as SD20 No. 2034 in Aug. 1982.
