| F45s BN 6643 and 6638 lead GP39-2 2710 on the head end of an eastbound manifest freight as it accelerates away from the Rock Island bridge it had just crossed over the Columbia River. The train is about to begin a 16 mile climb up a one percent grade out of the Columbia River valley. Once it reaches Quincy, it will be pretty much clear sailing to Spokane. |
