| The ore carrier Presque Isle is moored between the docks in Two Harbors as an SD40-3 shoves empty cars into the outgoing yard on a cold and blustery spring day. The vessel is waiting for a Coast Guard escort to the other end of Lake Superior, which is blocked by stretches of thick ice. A former Missabe Road self-propelled crane sits on top of the dock still wearing its full DM&IR maroon and gold paint and lettering (used for dock maintenance) |
