| Amtrak's newest company car, the 10004 American View, is seen on the rear of train 79 The Carolinian. Also in the consist is the 10002 Corridor Clipper (right in front of the 10004). The American View is built out of prototype Viewliner 62091. One role of this car is to show state politicians potential routes with the hope of securing state funding for services.
