One of the many Norfolk Southern intermodal trains running through Atlanta pulls toward the south end of Inman Yard as a beautiful sunrise starts off a warm March day. Visible in this shot are the AT&T Building, Bank of America Building, Coca-Cola World Headquarters, the Elton John and Ted Turner penthouses, the Peachtree Plaza Hotel, and the Georgia Pacific Building, all of which are in place without a doubt because of rail's presence in Atlanta since its beginning, when it was still known as Terminus.
