Kelly and Maggie Alexander exchange greetings with their husband/father, engineer Sandy Alexander, as Norfolk Southern train 099 rolls through Thomasville, NC, towing Wabash E8 #1009 and NW class J #611. Kelly is the Chief Operating Officer at Spencer's North Carolina Transportation Museum, and has played a vital role in the upcoming "Streamliners at Spencer" event. 611 and 1009 will be two of the "stars" at the event, but more importantly, 611's restoration to mainline service will be performed at the Museum.
