| The CNW heritage unit rests on the western approach to the MacArthur bridge on the point of an Alton and Southern employee excursion while manifest freight MASNP approaches on the other track with more mundane UP power. The passenger train was running for ALS Family Day and made many trips across the Mississippi River from the Illinois side. It was operating in push-pull configuration with the Western Pacific heritage unit on the other end. |
