Q685 begins the journey out of Montgomery taking the "new way" track as it embarks on an alternate route to Waycross. With a higher than normal count of trains running on the Dothan sub that day, Q685 decides to run north along the A&WP/WofA sub to LaGrange where it will then turn onto the Lineville sub heading south for a direct trip to Waycross. The next train seen this morning would be foreign power from Uncle Pete.
