Remarks & Notes
Sand Storm: In the most arid and dry desert in the world, the Atacama Desert located in the north of Chile, moves the iron train, freight train of the FERRONOR railway company Ferronor, which transports the iron from the "Los Colorados" mine to Huasco harbour in the III Region of Atacama. In the picture, the loaded train passes by "Chehueque" in the desert, climbing up a hard slope with 4 locomotives GM EMD GR12, 2 to the front and 2 locomotives pulling from behind. The afternoon wind got up a little sand dust from the arid desert, as the train climbs up the steep climb.
