Remarks & Notes
A westbound Santa Fe intermodal works upgrade at Siberia, California, on the climb up to Ash Hill. These B40-8s were precursors to the later "Super Fleet" GE and EMD units--in warbonnet red and silver--that dominated Santa Fe's intermodal operations, although briefly (unfortunately).
