Remarks & Notes
The Baby Deltic project is in the course of converting a withdrawn Class 37 into a long-scrapped class of loco, the Baby Deltics. The group has a power unit and is making the modifications to the Class 37 to turn into a member of the lost class. Seen here at Barrow Hill roundhouse, the body is marked with some of the changes that will be made, rather like the marks made by a surgeon before the operation. Other changes have been made, such as changing the bogies to convert it from a Co-Co to a Bo-Bo.
