| CN Two Harbors yard is the final destination in Minnesota for some of the taconite pellets made at the Iron Range's taconite plants. Most of what is stored here are from the Minorca mine and Minntac mine. These will be loaded on boats for further transport to steel making mills. Usually at this time of year the piles are drawn down as they make room for winter storage due to the Great Lakes being frozen. |
