Remarks & Notes
CORX C988 was built in 1938 (SW) and then was rebuilt in 1957 as a SW900. The engine performed switching duties at the Coors Brewing Company plant in Golden, Colorado. It was donated to the Colorado Railroad Museum in 2004 and only has to travel a few miles to its new home. The Rocky Mountain mile-high sun is taking a toll on what was once a bright red paint scheme.
