| A scene which has played out in so many locations in 2014 is well demonstrated on this August day in Birmingham. While the venerable cantilever is still in place and governing movements, its PTC-compatible replacement stands at the ready. And there is no doubt NS 3281 passed under this signal many times, albeit with a proper Southern Railway high nose, rather than the current "Admiral Cab." |
