| North Pole Express 2014. Steve Sandburg watches as MILW 261's crew prepares to come off the auxiliary track onto the BNSF main at Minneapolis Jct. The 261 wears a “North Pole Express 2014” sign on the front. The 261 will pull “North Pole Express” trips at the Union Depot in St. Paul Dec. 5-7 and 11-14 with multiple trips each day. More significantly, the steam crew relocated 261’s bell to the center top of the smoke box to give the engine a different and distinctive look for these trips.
Almost a perfect roster shot with rods down.
