| The Amtrak Veterans unit is paired with the Phase III AMTK 822 to haul 10 Amtrak cars from Rensselaer to Binghamton. The train is rolling SB past the former cement plant at Howes Cave on the D&H. This was a deadhead move to position the train for the annual Toys For Tots train from Binghamton to Rouses Point on 12-6 and 12-7. Car consist was Viewliner Theater Observation in Phase IV "American View", Heritage full dome in Phase III "Ocean View", Amfleet lounge/café in phase IV, Amfleet coach in phase IV, Heritage baggage car in phase IV, Heritage baggage car in phase IV, Heritage baggage car in phase IV, Heritage sleeper in Phase III "Pacific Bend", Heritage sleeper in Phase IV "Pacific Cape", Amfleet Business Car in phase IV "Beech Grove".
