Although CSX Corporation is now in place, out on the property, not much has changed---yet. At St. Paul, VA, a northbound on the Clinchfield--cab lite--rolls around the curve and toward the crossing with N&W's Clinch Valley District main, which cuts through the middle. To the far right is a set of power and caboose belonging to the L&N. At the time, L&N used trackage rights over N&W between Norton and St. Paul, delivering three to four unit coal trains a day, and returning with a like number of empty movements. The L&N equipment is tied down awaiting the next assignment.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ attitude, to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
