Remarks & Notes

My first visit to the EMCO plant was on December 30, 1980 and unfortunately our timing was poor as apparently they had stopped running mainline trains for the season as all the F-units were dead and drained at the shop. It was a cloudy/foggy day but we managed a few shots for posterity. This one shows F9B 4223 wearing what appears to be a fresh paint job alongside C420 4218. The 4223 along with sisters 4224 and 4225 were just scrapped on site (Dec 2014).
