Remarks & Notes
Black River & Western 2-8-0 #60, former Great Western, traverses the Third Neshanic River trestle late one Winter's evening in Flemington, NJ. An unlikely photo far removed from the typical vantage points of the Black River and Western Railroad.

A far cry from the common wedgie ... and particularly well executed.

Serving small industries in Hunterdon County for 50 years, the Black River and Western serves as an active line and a window to the past of New Jersey with rural farms and small creeks.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
