Dodging The Cars. One of the Downeaster pool's NPCUs brings up the markers of Amtrak 689 as it rolls above Inner Belt Road in Somerville, Mass., maybe two miles out of North Station. I shot the P42 on the head end from the sidewalk on the right, and then obtained this shot as an afterthought, pressing the shutter as I ran across the road dodging at least one car.
