| Two leased GE B40-8s with a fuel tank car between them rush a piggyback train west to Denver. Apparently this was a test to keep the train moving through fuel stops. Note the diminutive trucks under the B40-8s -- certainly not "a kid wearing gym shoes" appearance, and in this engineer's opinion, the B40-8s rode the roughest of any diesels, so badly several times I thought we were derailed. |
