Remarks & Notes 
A southbound empty rail train is passing Skansdam junction on the Germiston - Vereeniging line, hauled by one of +/- 100 class 6E1's that still remain in service, no. E1352 from series 3, built in 1971. A coal train is waiting on the Sentrarand line for the all clear to follow, the headlight of the leading class 38 is visible to the left of the picture.
