Paradise, Pennsylvania, (population 1,129 as of the 2010 census) is at the eastern end of the (generally) steam-powered Strasburg Railroad (SRC). The little Strasburg connects to the outside world here - The two tracks on the foreground belong to the SRC. In constrast is Amtrak's electrified Philadelphia to Harrisburg mainline (ex-Penn Central, ex-Pennsylvania Railroad), which sees heavy traffic with the carrier's Keystone Service trains. Late in the afternoon on September 28th, 2013, Keystone Service train 672 (Harrisburg PA to New York NY), speeds through Paradise behind Amtrak AEM-7 905, with cab car 9639 bringing up the rear. (Amtrak 9639 was built in 1967 as Penn Central Metroliner coach 802, which became Amtrak Metroliner 802 when Amtrak was formed in 1971.
