Remarks & Notes
Antelope Western 1, built in 1889, leads the last train of the day through a tree tunnel back towards the train shed. The Society for the Preservation of Carter Railroad Resources restored this section of track originally built by the Southern Pacific Coast Railroad in the late 1800s. This narrow gauge railroad once stretched from Alameda to Santa Cruz.
