Fresh snow has once again fallen over Northeastern Pennsylvania as the Reading and Northern PNEX-01 heads up the Main Line through Tamaqua. With a recent influx of empty Crude Oil trains, for temporary storage, the Reading Division has become extremely busy. The PNEX-01 is moving empty hopper cars to the Delano Running Track in order to create space in Tamaqua Yard. Another oil train will be placed in the yard later in the afternoon by the same crew.
The #3055 and #5022 are leading 50+ empty Rapid Discharge hoppers northbound at Rose Street. The fresh snow is really kicking up as the train accelerates up the grade of the Little Schuylkill. |
