| The Highland Cut becomes an impressive sight in late winter after the thaw and freeze cycles create large ice formations. The sounds are also impressive as thousands of horsepower struggle to reach the summit in the cut with tons of freight. Here an eastbound manifest with some special loads has crested the summit on its way to Conway Yard. |
