Remarks & Notes
One of the reasons EMD came to dominate the diesel business is the outstanding service they provided to the railroads even after they sold the engines. This extended to designing the locomotives paint scheme and even the design of diesel shops. Here in a building existing since before the Civil War, the EMD designs of deck level walkways, diesel truck drop tables plus a great paint scheme are to be clearly seen and studied.

It has been great seeing the restoration of these F3's and a privilege to be a trainman riding in the cab during passenger service.
