Remarks & Notes
The all business look of an EMD SD45 leads a Utah Railway coal load into UP's interchange yard at Provo. The 9146 was built by EMD for the Southern Pacific in March 1970. The Utah Railway acquired it from Helm Financial early in 1986. After five years of hard labor, it was retired from service in April 1991 and scrapped at Martin Yard by Mountain States Machinery of Price, Utah.
