| For the first time in 6 years Amtrak has offered the Ski Train which runs from Denver's Union Station to Winter Park, Colorado, where skiers can run the slopes in the day and take the evening train back to Denver’s Union Station. For the special occasion Amtrak lashed up AMTK 42 (Veterans paint scheme) on point. We also see the historic section of the newly remodeled Union Station with the glowing ‘Travel by Train’ letters and the gleaming white canopy of the new platform. It is a great way to relax going to and from the slopes. |
