| M338 left Waterloo today way ahead of the 20:00 normal departure time. Then trouble struck on the 2505 and the delays began east of Jesup. One of the head block gaskets came loose and sprayed oil all over the block which caused a fire. The crew had to get the roundhouse come out and get the gasket back in, not before the sun set on the day. Here 338 is ready to get going again at MP 257, and on with the rest of the trip to Dubuque. |
