My first reaction rolling into Fraser with my family last Sunday was, "oh my, that is a really late eastbound California Zephyr!"
As most of you probably knew, Amtrak ran two Ski Trains for that weekend only, piloted by the very handsome Veteran's unit, Amtrak #42. This train was simply waiting out the skiers, who all had glorious weather for skiing in a pretty thick base at Winter Park.
