Remarks & Notes
Here's a shot that i've been wanting to capture for quite some time, so I finally decided to make the ascent. Seen here, Amtrak's westbound Southwest Chief #3 slowly negotiates the twists and turns of Apache Canyon, on a warm but windy spring afternoon. Coming in at a length of roughly 900 feet, the train is only slightly shorter than the canyon itself.
