| Due to the unusual layout of the NJ Transit station at Jersey Avenue, the northbound platform is not on the corridor itself, but at the end of a small electric yard. This platform's light use definitely shows in the conditions of the track and right of way. Trains that head north to Newark or Penn Station that serve this station must originate their runs here. Here can be seen one of the several Arrow sets that are layed up in the yard, ready for the Monday morning rush. |
