Remarks & Notes
Durango and Silverton 2-8-2 No. 473 pulls a mixed train between Pinkerton and Rockwood, Colorado, on August 24, 2006. The K-28 Mikado is dressed in “Bumblebee” colors applied to the locomotive for a national narrow gauge convention in Durango, based on a paint scheme No. 473 wore during the 1950s doing movie work.
