| L&N heritage. Venerable L&N searchlight signals still protect many CPs on CSX’s KD Subdivision. Pictured here is K426 northbound ethanol empties waiting behind a set of these searchlights at the CSX/NS diamond at Willoughby. The train will get a clear signal in just a few moments after a yard job returns to the yard and clears the main ahead. The cars to the left are setting on the CSX/NS interchange trackage. |
