Remarks & Notes
On March 6, 1986, a westbound Seaboard System movement---eight units and a caboose---drops downgrade from East Stone Gap to Big Stone Gap, VA. Railroads often have motive power imbalances, so "light" power moves are operated to put units at the right place for the right trains. Lead unit 8132 was the last one delivered to the Clinchfield.
