Remarks & Notes
A northbound CN freight has just cleared the road crossing and the bells and gates retract and that's just what the crew on board RG316 wanted as they prepare to now leave the yard at Virginia and follow the train to continue grinding the CN Rainy Sub under the cover of darkness. The plan is to grind at night and then clear back into the yard in the morning before doing all over again the next night.

Some trains just have an especially futuristic look to them.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
