Remarks & Notes
BNSF 4000 West leads a westbound oil train across the new bridge over the Missouri River at Plattsmouth, NE. This train had come north on the St. Joe Sub and turned west at Pacific Jct. in Iowa, which is amazingly visible in the background, some 4 miles east of here. Of note, the 4000 had been involved in a 2012 oil-based wreck, but in this case it struck a truck full of it, and the results can be seen here: http://bnsfsd70.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=3189331
