During the Memorial Day Weekend "Trains, Tractors, and Tanks" event at Santa Margarita Ranch the Coast Starlight can be seen in the distance passing by the festivities. The tractor seen in the photo is a replica of a 1906 Holt steam tractor that took my grandfather almost 10 years to build from the ground up with only an original crank shaft and drawings. It was completed in 2008 and runs a couple times a year at various tractor events.
